Sunwing Resort
Originally built in 1989, Sunwing Sandy Bay Beach Village expands over a 60,000 sq. m. area, blending nature with modern hospitality. At its core, the main building – housing the reception, restaurants and key amenities - is surrounded by lush green areas, a pool and spa area, and 28 detached two-story buildings, collectively offering 328 apartments.
As part of the latest renovation, led by Anastasiou Misseri Architecture studio, all 328 apartments – ranging from compact studios to larger two-bedroom apartments – have been thoughtfully redesigned. A natural wood look and earthy tones define the new interiors, ensuring a balance of warmth, modernity and functionality. While designed to cater to guests’ comfort and diverse needs, the furniture elements maintain a refined, minimalist aesthetic that aligns perfectly with the resort’s updated brand identity and overall ambiance.
Our role in the project encompassed the manufacturing and installation of all Apartment Entrance Doors, along with various fixed furniture units within the apartments. The Apartment Entrance Doors, certified by IFCC as Fire-Rated Timber Doors FD60, feature a honey-toned wood grain finish and a clean, minimalist design, combining both safety and aesthetics. Inside, each apartment is equipped with a fully functional kitchen, open wardrobes, multifunctional storage units, and custom-designed headboards, all meticulously crafted to enhance the guest experience.
One of the greatest challenges of this project was executing the work across an extensive site within an exceptionally tight 12-week timeline. This was successfully achieved through strategic material procurement, meticulous production planning, and seamless coordination with all involved parties, ensuring timely delivery and flawless execution.
